Before The Surgery

Surgery
Surgery is performed under general anesthesia. Approximate operation time is 2 to 3 hours. Excess fat and skin are removed by making a horizontal incision parallel to the groin area. A drain is placed in the operation area. A supportive special corset is worn.
After The Surgery
Eating starts in the early period. The patient is mobilized after eating. The patient is discharged the next day. There may be pain, swelling and bruising in the operation area. Bathing is allowed within 2-3 days. The special corset is worn for 4-6 weeks. Return to work in 10-14 days. Heavy activities are allowed after 1 to 2 months. A special diet is recommended after surgery.
