Double Chin Liposuction

Before Surgery 

Detailed medical history, patient examination, patient’s expectations, information about the surgery, pre-procedure photography are performed. The areas where fat will be removed are determined. Skin elasticity is checked. Incision sites are determined. It is important not to have skin excess.

Surgery 

The surgery can be applied under general anesthesia or local anesthesia + sedation. The operation takes 30 minutes -1 hour if it is performed in a single region. An incision of about half a centimeter is made under the chin. At first, special fluids prepared for liposuction are injected. The purpose of this is pain and bleeding control. First, laser or ultrasound energy is given through the incision. The fat cells are broken down and then the fat is easily aspirated.

After Surgery

Eating starts in the early period. No drain is applied. The patient is discharged on the same day. Pain, swelling and bruising may occur. Bathing is allowed within two days. Special bandage is worn for 1 week. You can return to work in 5-7 days. Heavy activities are allowed after 3 weeks.
